The Tenterden Rural Alliance is a collaboration of schools from the Tenterden area who are 
working together to raise achievement for all our pupils. The schools involved are 
Homewood School & Sixth Form Centre, Tenterden Junior and Infant Schools and the 
primary schools in Rolvenden, Wittersham, Woodchurch, High Halden, Repton Manor,  Biddenden, Charing, 
Egerton, Goldwyn, St Michael’s and Bethersden. We have been working together for just over two years, 
and in that time we have organised joint staff training including a full training days for all 400 
of our staff, Celebration of Education events for pupils from all the schools, joint Governor 
training and many opportunities for teachers across the schools to work together to plan 
activities and share good practice. High Halden is very pleased to be part of this Alliance and 
we see a great future for our schools in working together.
