Inspection Reports

We're really proud of what both OFSTED and SIAMS had to say about our school!

🌟 In our most recent OFSTED report, inspectors described our school as “a harmonious community where pupils and adults work happily together.” There's a strong sense of pride throughout our school, and we’re especially pleased that the report recognised how “everybody is welcome.”

The school was praised for being ambitious in offering a rich and engaging curriculum — both inside and outside the classroom. Pupils even help shape what that learning looks like! 🧠📚 From trips to the city, beach, and museums to an ever-changing variety of after-school clubs, there’s always something exciting happening.

The report also highlighted how pupils rise to high expectations for behaviour, developing confidence and self-esteem in our safe and nurturing environment. 💫 Leadership opportunities — like House Captains and Worship Leaders — give children the chance to shine and take responsibility.

Parents, carers, and pupils alike have great confidence in how we handle concerns. Bullying is taken seriously, and any potential incidents are addressed quickly and thoroughly. In fact, many pupils said they’re not even aware of it happening! 💬🛡️

Meanwhile, our latest SIAMS inspection (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) recognised the strength of our school’s Christian vision, describing it as “deeply embedded” and central to everything we do. Rooted in a meaningful biblical narrative, our vision supports the strategic growth of the school and helps everyone grow together — children and adults alike. 🌱✨

The report highlighted the profound impact this vision and our shared values have on the wellbeing of the whole school community. There’s a strong sense of belonging here, and pupils are eager to contribute and support each other. ❤️

🌿 Creative learning — both indoors and outdoors — encourages a genuine love of learning across the school. While the idea of spirituality is developing, we’re continuing to work towards a clearer, shared understanding of how it can be explored and expressed by everyone.

🕯️ Collective worship was described as “engaging and relevant for all,” and it beautifully reflects our values and vision. We’re now looking to strengthen how we monitor and evaluate worship to make it even more impactful.

📖 In RE, pupils enjoy exploring big questions and taking part in creative learning opportunities that really spark interest. We're in the early stages of developing how we assess learning in RE and give children time to reflect on what it means to them personally.

Overall, we’re proud of the many strengths recognised in the report and excited about how we’ll continue growing as a nurturing, faith-filled school community.
