At High Halden Primary School, we are proud to be in federation with Woodchurch CE Primary School, a partnership built on shared values, mutual respect, and a common goal: to provide the best possible education and experiences for every child.

Our two schools have been working in collaboration since 2019. Though each school maintains its own unique identity and community spirit, our federation brings us together in ways that help both schools grow stronger, smarter, and more connected.

👩‍🏫 Shared Leadership & Expertise

As part of our federation, we share:

• 👩‍💼 Executive Headteacher – providing strategic leadership across both schools

• 🧩 Inclusion Manager – ensuring support and access to learning for all pupils

• 💼 Business Manager – managing resources efficiently across both settings

This model allows us to pool expertise and build a leadership team that is focused, forward-thinking, and child-centered.

💬 Working & Learning Together

Regular joint staff meetings, shared professional development (CPD) opportunities, and collaborative planning sessions mean our staff teams can learn from each other, share best practice, and develop professionally in ways that benefit all our pupils.

One of the most exciting aspects of our federation is the way it brings our children together:

🏫 About Woodchurch CE Primary

Woodchurch is a larger school than High Halden, with approximately 165 children on roll.
Each class has a maximum of 26 pupils, allowing for small-group learning and individual attention. Its vibrant learning environment, strong community links, and high expectations complement our values perfectly.
