How We Engage With Our Local Community

We are proud to be active participants in the life of our village and beyond:

• Multi-generational projects with residents at Halden Heights Nursing Home, sharing stories, arts, and music across generations.

• Fundraising for local charities that support families, health, and wellbeing.

• Village pride: taking part in the horticultural shows, festivals, and other village events.

• Partnership with the Parish Council, working together on school projects that benefit everyone.

• Enjoying our wonderful village and its spectacular features, from nature walks to historical landmarks.

• Spending time in the beautiful church across the road, where children learn, reflect, and celebrate together.

These experiences connect pupils to their roots, broaden their horizons, and strengthen the bonds between school and community. Local volunteers also play an important role, generously giving their time and expertise to support the learning and progress of our pupils.
