👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Why Do We Need the PTFA at High Halden?

The Parent, Teacher and Friends Association (PTFA) plays a vital role in supporting and enhancing school life at High Halden. It brings our community together, creates special memories for the children, and raises valuable funds for enrichment opportunities and school resources.

As a parent or carer, you’re already part of the PTFA – no sign-up required! We understand that life is busy, but even the smallest offer of help makes a big difference. Whether it's baking cakes, sharing ideas, or helping out at events – your support is always appreciated.

🎉 What Does the PTFA Do?

Our PTFA organises fun, family-friendly events throughout the year to:

  • 💰 Raise funds for essential equipment and exciting experiences

  • 😄 Create joy and build community spirit through school events

  • 🎓 Support learning by funding enrichment activities and school trips

Past contributions have helped fund:

  •  EYFS playground development (new trim trail & playground markings)

  • 💡 Stage lighting for school productions

  • 📚 Enrichment workshops like Storytelling Days and STEM experiences

  • 🎒 Subsidised trips and special experiences

  • 🐒 The Year 6 Go Ape Leavers' Trip

  • 💐 Mother’s Day & Father’s Day Gift Shops

  • 🐣 Easter Café & Hunt

  • 🥤 Milkshake Bar

  • 🏃‍♂️ Sports Day Refreshments

  • ❓ Quiz Night

  • 💃 Summer Disco

These events not only raise money – they bring smiles, laughter, and cherished memories to our children.
