Pupil Leadership
🌟 Pupil Leadership and Involvement 🌟
At our school, we encourage every pupil to take an active and positive role in all areas of school life. We believe that every child should have the opportunity to lead initiatives and take on responsibilities that make a real difference across the school community.
To support this, we offer a variety of leadership roles. These positions are filled through a democratic process where the entire school community votes for the pupils they feel will best fulfil these roles with dedication and enthusiasm. 🗳️
🎓 Head Boy and Head Girl
Each year, we select two outstanding pupils to serve as Head Boy and Head Girl — one of the highest honours in our school. The announcement, eagerly awaited by everyone, is made in early September. The Head Boy and Head Girl act as ambassadors for the school and role models for their peers.
Candidates prepare and deliver speeches to the whole school, showcasing their commitment, positive attitude to learning, and perseverance. After this, the school community votes to choose those they believe embody these qualities. Over the course of the year, the Head Boy and Head Girl take on a variety of responsibilities, including welcoming visitors, leading school events, and representing the school at special occasions. 🎤🤝
🏅 House Captains
Our House Captains play a vital role in fostering school spirit and friendly competition. They collect House Points each week, announce scores during our Celebration Worship, and lead their houses in sporting and other school-wide events. 🏆🏃♂️🏃♀️
✨ Worship Leaders
Our Worship Leaders help support the daily worship life of the school. They assist in leading assemblies and contribute to creating a positive, reflective atmosphere that brings the school community together. 🌈🕊️
🗳️ Pupil Governors
The Pupil Governors work on an action plan focused on priorities they set each year. Members help choose new resources and books, meet regularly to discuss ideas, and suggest events and activities to the PTFA (Parents, Teachers and Friends Association) to support school life. Their voice plays an important role in shaping the school experience for all pupils. 📚💡🎉
