Head Boy and Head Girl

The children in our school never fail to impress, amaze and inspire. Our Head Boy and Girl are brilliant examples of this.

Jess and Joseph are taking part in the Pretty Muddy Race at Mote Park in Maidstone on Saturday 1st July to raise money for Cancer Research UK as part of their Head Girl and Head Boy role, fulfilling High Halden Church of England Primary School’s value of generosity. Across the term, they have been sending us updates on their training even in all weathers...

A fundraising page has been set up for their challenge and donations can be made using the following link:

https://fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/team/high-haldens-cancer-fighting-challenge-troopers

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work.

Here is their story:

I'm Jess and I'm Joseph and we are head girl and boy at High Halden Primary School. As part of our role we were excited to be able to raise money for a charity of our choosing. We decided to train for the Pretty Muddy Race and raise money for Cancer Research UK. The reason we decided to raise money for this charity is because our friend's mum was struggling with cancer and we wanted to do it for her and all the other people suffering with cancer. We hope you can support us by donating some money to this amazing cause and we will train hard and complete our Pretty Muddy Race.
