General Election
The children of High Halden took part in their own General Election on Thursday 7th May. During the afternoon, three party leaders visited the children to put forward their manifestos. After the children had heard from David Cameron, Nick Clegg and Ed Milliband, they entered the polling station to cast their votes. The children were given a ballot form and posted them in the ballot box. The votes were counted over night and the outcome was announced today!
Conservatives: 29 votes
Labour: 30 votes
Liberal Democrats: 33 votes.
