VE Day

Today, we hoped to learn about the significance of VE Day in school. Instead, we are doing this from the safety of our homes. This week, the teachers planned a range of activities for the children to participate in linked to the Victory in Europe. Some of our wonderful families have created a special video...

We would love to see how you are celebrating at home, feel free to email photos the school office, or send Mrs Burlton a Dojo message.

Emily (Y5) and her mum have been busy making Victory Bears to help us remember the Victory in Europe that took place 75 years ago today. They have very kindly made enough for every child in school to have one upon our return. I am sure you will join me in thanking them for their hard work and generosity.

Other children have been busy making bunting, dressing up as soldiers and visiting local memorials.
