  • Harvest Festival

    Mon 13 Oct 2014

Last Thursday we were delighted to be able to return to St Mary’s Church after its restoration. The children sang their hearts out and enjoyed listening to the Harvest message. We would like to thank all of those parents who attended and everyone who donated gifts. These have already been sent to help those in need in the local area through the Ashford Food Bank scheme, a charity that the Church supports.

  • European Day of Languages

    Thu 02 Oct 2014

To celebrate European Day of Languages the children enjoyed a whole day with an Italian twist. They donned their chef hats to create pizza toppings for delicious homemade pizzas, they learnt to perform a traditional folk dance 'La Tarantella' in time with its upbeat tempo and they re-created Italian art in the form of an Italian artist .A special Italian feast was provided at lunch which included a traditional spaghetti bolognaise and pizza, followed by some tasty gelato ice-cream. The children spent the day with their houses and all staff were very impressed with the children's positive attitudes.
