  Thank you to eveyone who joined us on The Green to celebrate the Queen’s birthday last week.

  The children sang beautifully and it was an honour for us to begin the proceedings.

  It was great to see so many different groups from the village all joining together.

  

• Sports Festival

  High Halden was fortunate to host pupils from John Mayne and Hawkhurst for an inter school festival.

  The idea of the session was to enable pupils to experience a range of different sports whilst learning to develop their skills and work as teams across the schools.

  Mr Heath reported that the children all really enjoyed themselves, behaved impeccably and that the level of performance shown was definitely raised above normal.
