  We enjoy celebrating the talents of our wonderful children. Last night, we were fully entertained by singers, gymnastics, comedians and more! Congratulations to High Halden's Got Talent winner-Jessame!

  We had a very entertaining afternoon, with so many confident young performers providing a range of acts for us to enjoy. Well done to all the finalists and congratulations to Olivia, our winner! 

  

• Y6 Leavers Evening

  Last night, our amazing Year 6 children performed 'Do you remember when?'. 

   

  There was plenty of laughter, tears and proud parents & teachers as we looked back on the Y6s' experience at High Halden. 

   

  The Nothing Poem

  When children come home at the end of the day,

  The question they’re asked as they scurry to play

  Is, “Tell me, what did you do today?”

   

  And the answer they give makes you sigh with dismay

  “Nothing, I did nothing today?”

   

  Perhaps nothing means that I learnt to distinguish between day and night

  Or solve simple equations with Mrs. White

   Maybe I painted a picture of red and blue,

  Or heard a story about a mouse that flew.

  Maybe today was the very first time

  That my scissors followed a very straight line.

  Maybe I led a song from beginning to end,

  Or played with a special brand new friend.

  When you’re only 11 and your heart has wings,

  NOTHING can mean so many things!
